The Agrotechnology Study Program at Hasanuddin University held an information session in December 2023 titled ‘MBKM Program for the Agrotechnology Study Program: Certified High-Quality Seed Internship’ at the UPT Seed Quality Certification Centre for Food Crops and Horticulture in Maros District. This event served as an important platform for students, lecturers, and relevant parties to obtain direct information about the student internship programme as part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative. During the socialisation, the Head of the Agrotechnology Study Programme, Dr. Ir. Abd. Haris B., M.Si., provided an in-depth explanation of the objectives, benefits, and prospects of this internship programme, which is designed to provide practical experience while strengthening collaboration between the university and the agricultural industry. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elkawakib Syam’un, MP., explained the MBKM Programme.
This socialisation is expected to motivate students to participate in the internship programme with a clearer understanding of the opportunities offered. The programme is hoped to serve as a foundation for cultivating a competent and competitive generation of agricultural experts who can contribute to the development of Indonesia’s agricultural sector.
